I like the the 350 Rem Mag best for deer hunting. My all-time favorite hunt was the shoot outside of Winnetoon when Kareen spotted the big buck. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Ruger. One drawback is that adding a fiberglass stock does increase the weight of the Ruger.
I really like all my 350 Rem Mag and 260 Rem Ruger hunting rifles to be “tack drivers”. My Dad’s favorite caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a 260 Rem.
My favorite rifle is my new Model 77 with the fiberglass chambered in 350 Rem Mag and 260 Rem. I got my Ruger 260 Rem at the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Winnetoon.
