The best all around caliber I own is probably the 17 HMR from Bass Pro Shops in St. Rose. The best caliber here in Alaska for the all game is the 17 HMR.
A minor problem for the 350 Rem Mag is that it isn’t very powerful. My friends and I like the 350 Rem Mag best for deer hunting.
My favorite gun is a Tikka T-3 Lite with a 17 HMR barrel. My friend (Lynn) said his favorite caliber is the 17 HMR he got at a NWTF banquet last season. My Dad’s favorite caliber would have to be a 17 HMR.
