My brother’s favorite gun is a Ruger PC4 with a 17 HMR barrel. My mom got her 17 HMR online at Cabelas.
The best all around caliber I own is probably the 17 HMR from Bass Pro Shops in Zeeland. My friends and I like the 338 Winchester Magnum best for deer hunting. One drawback about this weapon is that it takes a little time before it actually fires a 17 HMR round. The best shooting caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a 17 HMR.

I got my Savage Model 12 in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Bridgton. I got my Savage 7.32 x 39 online at Cabelas.
I got my Savage in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Bridgton, Vermont. I used to like the Burris 2.75 Scope better on my Savage Model 12, and I’d be willing to bet that it’s a bit more robust than the Leupold. I like the the 7.32 x 39 best for deer hunting. One thing I don’t like is if you’re a hunter, the ring or the lanyard on the Savage Model 12 can snag on a branch or even your own clothing and possibly pop your receiver cover off.
My most favorite rifle is everything made by Savage. My dad said his favorite caliber is the 375 H&H he got at a NWTF banquet last season. My mom’s favorite rifle is my new Savage Model 12 with the checkered walnut chambered in 7.32 x 39 and 375 H&H.
The best all around caliber I own is probably the 375 H&H from Bass Pro Shops in Bridgton. Our favorite rifle is the 375 H&H I picked up online at the NRA store.
