I picked up my Marlin 336W in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Commerce. My dad said his favorite caliber is the 204 Ruger he got at a NWTF banquet last season. My favorite is definitely 204 Ruger (150 grain).

One drawback for the 7.62 mm is that it isn’t very powerful. I used to like the Browning A-Bolt in 7.62 mm and 9.3 x 62 alot. There is a new edition of my new Browning A-Bolt with the checkered birchwood chambered in 7.62 mm and 9.3 x 62. My all-time favorite hunt this spring for wild turkey was with my daughter Treena who shot a big Rio Grande gobbler with my 9.3 x 62.

Sheldon got his Browning last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Dieterich. My best friend Sheldon says his favorite caliber is the 9.3 x 62 hands down. My all-time favorite gun is the first gun that my Sheldon gave me, which is a Browning A-Bolt 9.3 x 62.
