The best caliber just for whitetail hunting in the woods of WI though is the 22-250 Rem Mag, followed by the .303 Enfield. My especial rifle is my new Remington Model 710 with the checkered hard rock maple chambered in 22-250 Rem Mag and .303 Enfield.
