My grandfather bought it at our range over in Mathiston which is a high-dollar place to buy a Black Mesa but I believe in supporting the places in Louisiana you do business with. The best caliber is either the 30-06 Springfield or 270 JDJ - what ever I have handy when I see one of the little buggers.
I will always remember my choice hunt was last fall just outside of Mathiston. My treasured caliber is probably the 270 JDJ from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Mathiston. My all-time number one hunting rifle is my Black Mesa Express 270 JDJ with a walnut stock.
