I like the the 7.62 mm best for wapiti hunting. My cherished caliber is probably the 22-250 Rem Mag from Wal Mart in Scammon. The best caliber here in Alaska for the all game is the 22-250 Rem Mag.
Roman got his Dakota last fall at Bass Pro Shops in Scammon. My dad said his admired caliber is the 22-250 Rem Mag he got at a National Rifle Association banquet last season. My best friends’ most popular buck rifle is my Dakota Model 10 in 22-250 Rem Mag with a maple stock. My grandfather bought it at an auction last month in Scammon.
My all-time number one rifle is the Dakota Model 10 I got at Target in Scammon. I got my Dakota in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Scammon, Montana.
One thing I don’t like with shooting a ported 22-250 Rem Mag barrel is the increase in muzzle blast. For elk hunting I like to shoot the rifle from the offhand position.
