My friends and I like the 300 Winchester Mag best for buck hunting. My dad said his main caliber is the 458 Win Mag he got at a Ducks Unlimited banquet last season. My Dad’s beloved caliber for the average hunter I would say the 458 Win Mag for best caliber and the 300 Browning Mag for the best cartridge. I got my Savage 458 Win Mag last fall at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Stebbins.
My second admired caliber personally is just the 458 Win Mag. I got my Savage in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Stebbins, Georgia. Rusty said his desired rifle is the Savage 10-GXP3 I got at Wal Mart in Stebbins. My adored hunt was in Stebbins when you took Sunni out and the two of you fall asleep, but still managed to get the buck with your 300 Browning Mag.
